three days forward, three days back, birthing memories that i lost track of the love that i still lack, sad, happy, not on the beaten track, like ghosts, the two who loved me most, almost, maybe, were born within six days and a year apart, like art, and all that's left, bereft, is the broken heart...

i may have been a genius but, i was not very smart...

start again, many times, maybe you'll remember rhymes, and the love, long ago, don't tell me you didn't know that it would always be, you had to know... cuz you knew me... sheesh :)

the answer to why

there was nothing to do but continue because I was alive... some continue to live, some continue to die, some continue to survive... some look for answers in the wind, some look for answers where they've been, some look for answers in another time... I care to share and share to care because that leads me to feeling sublime... and while waiting for you, I play in rhyme...
